Through the NexHealth Synchronizer
NexHealth’s Synchronizer is the bridge between Ardent and Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Dentrix Enterprise, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, Curve Dental, Denticon, Cloud 9 and OrthoTrac. It reads upcoming appointments, patient details and the insurance coverage on file, and it files the completed sheet as a patient document. On Dentrix, Dentrix Enterprise, Eaglesoft and Open Dental it can also update the appointment note, which is how Ardent leaves its one-line note there.
For a server-based PMS (Dentrix, Dentrix Enterprise, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, OrthoTrac), the Synchronizer is installed on the PMS server with an admin account; NexHealth’s integrations team can do that remotely. For a cloud PMS (Dentrix Ascend, Curve Dental, Denticon, Cloud 9), the office creates a dedicated NexHealth user in the PMS and installs NexHealth’s Chrome extension on every workstation that edits the schedule. NexHealth asks offices to allow up to 72 business hours for that step.
On cost, NexHealth’s page at nexhealth.com says: "Practices don’t pay for the Synchronizer. There’s no setup fee, no subscription." Confirm current terms with NexHealth.
